To celebrate the Independence Day, Kolej Matrikulasi Perak held a grand ceremony and Persatuan Alumni KMPk was invited to be part of the celebration. The ceremony was also attended by Dr. Abdul Aziz Bari, Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Pendidikan, Teknologi, Sains dan Alam Sekitar Ngeri Perak.

Da'i Izzhar was invited to Kolej Matrikulasi Perak to give motivational sharing with the students on exam preparations. As the former student of the college, he has insights on the reality of matriculation students and first hand experience on the challenge as matriculation students.

Hasnul Adin is a graduate of Electronic Engineering but have an eye and passion for multimedia works.
Since school he was attracted to picture taking and video-graphing but never had the chance to have a formal education on the field.
Most of the things he knows on video editing and photography are self-taught.
